The 2017 Pro V1 features a next generation 2.0 ZG Process Core that contributes to longer distance on all shots, the secret is a new formula the generates lower spin and faster ball speeds. In testing the biggest spin reductions were most noticeable in the long game. The new core is encased in a thin, responsive ionomeric casing layer that enhances speed and controls spin on full shots.
Although the Spherically-Tiled 352 Tetrahedral dimple design is the same as the previous model the process has been refined. The dimple designs are now laser-etched, resulting in greater consistency dimple to dimple providing an even more consistent ball flight. While the ultra soft Urethane Elastomer cover system helps to deliver that Drop-and-Stop greenside control associated with the Pro V1.
